This panel refers to a descendant of Stuckely Westcott/Wescott, b. 1592, lived in Somerset County, England the progenitor of the colonial Westcott family of Rhode Island, was one of the founding members of Providence,RI. The SNP's resulted from a Y500 test at FTDNA. The testee also tested 111 markers of the Y DNA test at FTDNA and closest matches are three men with surname Wescott or Westcott. Two of these have also been identified as descendants of Stuckely Westcott, the third has a tentative descent from Stuckely Westcott.
