Sequence your own DNA by yourself on MGI instruments in Berlin!
Just come to our lab and DIY.
- DNA Extraction of your own cheek swab sample
- NGS Library preparation
- Free Low coverage WGS
- Mapping to the hg38 reference
- Analyzing the mtDNA Haplogroup
- Paid upgrade to WGS possible if library is successful
Requirements:
- Hands on help with the laboratory process.
- Basic understanding of molecular biology.
- Signed consent form for using your DNA sample for this workshop.
- Photos and mtDNA haplogroups of the participants are planned be posted on MGI and or YSEQ websites for advertising purpose only.
